RIP Les Binks (08.08.1951 – 15.03.2025)

Judas Priest drummer Les Binks was a long time supporter of ours. Apart from doing many great things in music, he was a very entertaining person to discuss the music business with. He last e-mailed me in April 2024 to wish us good luck with our “Seasons In Exile” album. We had a back and forth that was very interesting to me about what is and isn’t Rock. Les assured me that there are many types of Rock and that Unquiet Nights are “certainly one of them”, which is what I had asked him in the first place. Glad to see he was honoured with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. Above is Les watching our “George Best City” video.

Anyway, I’ll miss those e-mails. Rest in Peace, Les.
