“Young Believers” passes 100,000 on Spotify
YOUNG BELIEVERS has passed 100,000 streams on Spotify today, becoming our fourth song to pass that mark after “George Best City“, “Four Winds” and “Diamond and the Missing Son“. We’re really happy that “Young Believers” has been taken to heart by a lot of you. It wasn’t on an album when we stuck it out on April 8th, 2018, but it would later be on the First Ten (2012-2022) Compilation.

The artwork came from a photo we took at the Two Towers of Bologna, the Asinelli and the Garisenda. We recorded the three singles “Young Believers”, “Promise of You” and “Four Winds” pretty much together at the start of 2018 I think, with the idea to get some material out after the second album. We were building our studio Credential Sound at the time and they were the first ones to be recorded there for the most part. We finished “Young Believers” off at Manor Park Studio. I remember at the time Stuart Bailie on BBC Northern Ireland saying it sounded like Pearl Jam. We dug out that clip, so here it is…
Thanks for streaming “Young Believers“, and putting us on your playlists across all the platforms, not just Spotify. Hopefully a reason to post again at 1 million. ☺︎
